child custody, guardianships, adoption, contempt, as well as, international child custody (Hague Convention) and appeals. Firm partner, John D. Kershman is a member of the Hague Convention Attorney Network through the U.S. Department of State.
Max received his Juris Doctorate from St. Louis University, having earned multiple academic excellence awards, competed nationally on its Moot Court team, and graduated in the upper third of his class. He earned his B.A. from the University of Missouri, in St. Louis. He is admitted to practice in Missouri, including the Eastern Federal District of Missouri.
Max was born in Germany and immigrated with his family to the United States when he was in grade school. Max is fluent in his native language, however, being a diehard fan of Blues Hockey and Cardinals baseball, he is a St. Louisan through and through. Max enjoys his family time with his wife, Kelsey, chasing down their toddler, Garrett.
